BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES
Building Healthy Families is a unique program that focuses on family preservation and/or reunification. This program provides families the opportunity to work on their individual and family goals in a therapeutic, supportive environment. Families can choose to participate in the entire program (learning home and in-home services) or choose to receive in-home services exclusively.
Families work with an in-home clinician to create goals, build rapport, and begin therapeutic services. Services are delivered within the families own environment and community.
Families attend 7-10 learning home sessions on a bi-weekly schedule. On the alternating week, families continue to meet with their in-home clinician, in order to reinforce skills learned.
Families graduate the program once they complete all sessions. Prior to graduation, staff work with families to identify/utilize community and family supports that promote continued success
